Re: Skyline Badges

tokyoblue,
I believe StictlyZ.com. has the best prices by far on Skyline badges, check w/ them. No regretes rebadging mine. I also replaced the front Infiniti grill badge with a "Nismo" emblem inset w/ carbon fiber. Just prepare to get a lot more attention when you're out in you car.
As far as all these opinions on this Forum. Don't forget, it's your car, have Fun with it...

Re: Skyline Badges

hahahha...if anything, people in japan would probally thinking, "infiniti, what the hell is that...ugly name!!!!!!" jk

Either way, i don't care if people put skyline 350gt or g35, it is the same car. It not right to compare putting a M5 badge on a 5 series. M5 and 5 series are not the same car. skyline 350gt and g35 are the same, just in different country.

Dang, i am tired of defending myself t0 this same argument.

Re: Skyline Badges

Hey RugRatCoupe,

Where did you get the nismo front grill emblem from?

Nice setup you got there.

Re: Skyline Badges

The front Nismo Emblem is actually the rear Skyline Nissan trunk Emblem. I stuck a Nismo Sticker from japanparts.com
across the word "Nissan" on the Emblem. Stuck the finished Emblem on a piece of Carbon-Fiber tape from LP Racing (LockhartPhillipsUSA.com) part # 901-120 a 12"x12" Piece of Real Carbon Fiber on a flexable 3M addheasive backing.
Removed the original Infiniti Emblem and stuck the Nismo Badge to the Grill. Looks kinda cool in person because it's inset in the grill a bit. When people drive by, It's funny to see them trying to look to see the Nismo Emblem.
The Grill is a stock Infiniti Grill. That kinda happened by mistake. I intended to Paint the Grill so I Masked off the edges of the grill & Sanded the black chrome w/ a Very Fine Scotch Brite Pad. While sanding I noticed how well the Brushed Aluminum effect looked with the Diamond Graphite color of my car, so I left it. It really flows and looks
Monochromatic w/ the car.

Re: Skyline Badges

yeah, I've done some surfing with babelfish and yahoo japan, and there are places in Japan that sell us market badges and other accessories, like the orange sidemarkers for the 350Z. We wanna look like them, and them like us!

Re: Skyline Badges

yeah.. you're jus a bitch about it..

jk :P

i think there one of the few companies that have actually have them.. when i called a bunch of other people, they couldn't even get a hold of these emblems.. i've always had a good experience with strictlyZ, so IMO, can't go wrong with buying from them..

Re: Skyline Badges

Where can I buy the Nissan badge in the rear? I want to take out the Mt. Fuji sign and replace it with the Nissan badge.

Re: Skyline Badges

Go to your local Nissan dealer and order one. They just stick on, get one from a Maxima or altima or any other Nissan.
