I've been looking for a way to move my bike around and came across this:

http://www.birdautomotive.com/Bike%2...niti%20G35.htm

Does anyone have this or has anyone given it try. Appreciate your feedback.

thx,
Anthony

I know that this bike rack has come up several times. I think someone has it, but I don't remember. If you search for bird automotive you might be able to find it.

And if you want a bike rack, get one, it's your car. The Bird Automotive one looks better than others at keeping the bikes away from the car.

Good idea on the product, but it does not look that sturdy.

OBG3506,
I hear what you are saying. I don't want to put something on the roof or the trunk because I'm scared it will scratch the paint. This rack looks like it sticks out the back and that shouldn't be a problem.

Dave,
I thought I had seen it on here before. I tried to do a search but the search feature doesn't seem to like 2 word searches. It returns anything with bird or automotive.

To search for something like "Bird Automotive", go to the advanced search page, and on the bottom left, try "Boolean" instead of "Natural Language".

From post #3 in this thread, c35 has one. If he doesn't respond here, you could try PM'ing him for more info.

I'd be worried about the bumper cover - they dent easily. Best of luck finding a good option!

I've used the Saris Bones 2 rack for about 6 months now on my DG coupe (the color of it also matches the car ). It's supposed to hold 2 bikes, but really can only hold 1 b/c of our trunk and lack of bumper.

If you're looking to hold just one bike, then this one works fine.

I've been looking for a decent bike rack too. This one looks interesting. Do you have any pics you can share with it mounted on your coupe?
