hey guys, I'm pretty new to G35driver. just picked up an '06 OB 5AT a week ago, love it to death! well anyway, i took off the front license plate and bought a bumper cover for the little hole. however, there are still the white lugs where the screws go. how do i fill them up? or should i just paint them black with touch -up paint? bleh, the screws for the license plate also left a couple nasty scratches that i'll need to fill in..

 

welcome to driver and congrats on your purchase. not sure about the license plate thing. i just left mine on. didn't want to deal with the po po's.

 

I believe the dealerships sell plugs (already painted) to fill those holes in your
front bumper. You have the option of calling a dealership that WON'T steal

thanks! have any tips on using the touch-up paint to get rid of scratches and chips? i have turtlewax rubbing compound, would that be okay for the paint?

 

I'm also new to the site, I have a 2003 G35 sedan and I can't seem to find the front license plate cover anywhere. Any links would be greatly appreciated, btw the car is brilliant silver.

I also need to buy a transponder key blank. I want to get one with the Infiniti logo. I'm only seeing them in the $70s online, I'm sure they can be had cheaper.

I would just take it to a body shop and have it filled, mostly cause my bumper needs paint anyway. I left my tow hook hole open and put the hook in (cause I'm a ricer) lol.
