Hi,

The following are questions I'll be asking them to resolve when I take my car in today for its 7500 mile check-up:

1. Brakes SQUEAK at low speeds (very annoying).
2. Clicking sound from under the car when in first or second gear (sounds electrical)…I can explain further if necessary…was told by a fellow G owner that it could be the ABS doing a self-test but that it should only happen when I first start up the car. Again, this happens whenever I’m in first or second gear, maybe even higher gears but I can’t hear because the wind from the cars movement is louder.
3. Loss of left speakers periodically (daily) when CD is playing (requires me to eject CD and re-insert in order to fix)
4. Squeak or rattling coming from back seat area when driving (very annoying).
5. Yellowish mark on chrome rim (back right side)…looks like chrome plating is coming off…I only use water and sheep’s wool cloth for cleaning (no chemicals).
6. Gears sticking even when clutch all the way in (been driving stick my whole driving life which equates to 11 years and seven cars)
7. After driving home from work everyday (25 miles one way), when I pull into my driveway, my car, at idle, sounds like a diesel engine! This is the same for any distance driving. Someone told me it could most likely be the main throw out bearing for the clutch, whatever that means!
8. Rub mark on pillar from my last visit to Infiniti South Bay (please resolve, thanks).

My question to you guys is, have you had any of these problems and how were they resolved? Were there any problems with the dealerships getting these resolved? Any suggestons for how I should handle these issues.

I have number 2 as well, but I haven't taken it in yet. I'll look forward to hearing what they say about yours.

I had the brakes squeaking and the rear seat area rattling. The rattling is actualyl covered under a TSB so they can fix that in a hurry. For the brakes squeaking... well... they just said my brakes were fine and it was due to brake residue buildup and said they cleaned it off.. and the squeaking went away for maybe 20 miles at the most. I'm going to have to go back there and insist they thoroughly check the brakes since mine are still squeaking 2000 miles later.

TSB = Technical Service Bulletin

The company issues them for known issues that can be resolved at the dealership with a TSB packet (ie. a couple foam pieces), or some other form of mechanical fix.

TSB, technical service bulletin. i had my brakes fixed with a TSB a long while back, too. check out the "TSB - technical bulletins" in the "FYI" forum above this one. good luck with your 7500 service.

Do an "emergency" stop or two from 55mph or above. Mine haven't squeaked since. I have 8000 miles on my car, and did this aroud 2500 miles.

The brakes squeeking is normal. You havent heard squeeking yet wait til you decide to get some race pads. [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img]

After a long drive all the parts get hot and loose. Happens to every 6mt G35 I have seen out there. It's normal dont worry about it.

Please! A car makes noises, brake make noise, theres nothing you can do. Brembo brakes are not on the TSB for repair. She injoy your car and stop complaining

1. Do some HIGH SPEED emergency style stops, it will go away.
2. Have the dealer retorque the axle nuts.
3. Have to diagnose, I have not seen this issue in our Service Dept.
4. Have to diagnose.
5. Same.
6. Have to drive other 6MTs when you go in for service to compare.
7. Normal, the 6MTs sound like a bag of marbles being tossed around in the trans.
8. They will porbably take care of it.
