^Algy, it's tough with our cars. They are very well engineered and we seldom derive more than small amounts of power from bolt ons. That being said we still can gain some power but it's harder to tell because we already have so much of it to start.
In psychophysics it's called the principle of Difference Thresholds...the smallest detectable difference between two stimuli. The error in your ability to tell a difference grows as the intensity of the stimulus grows (in this case hp).
For example detecting the difference between 5lbs and 10lbs is easy, it's a 5lbs difference. But detecting a difference between 500lbs and 505lbs is much harder even though the difference is the same in amount, in relative amounts it went from 100% increase to a mere 1%.
Similarly, if you have a 130hp Civic and gain 13hp from some mods, you tend to notice right away with the butt dyno because thats a 10% power boost. 13hp compared to 300hp is just over 4%. we'd need an gain of 30hp to get to 10%...much harder to do...
So it doesn't mean you aren't gaining any power, but just the way our bodies and minds are setup, its harder to notice on the ol' butt dyno. Now it's up to you whether you want a very aggressive mod like a SC or turbo that you can definitely feel, or build up an NA car with smaller incremented steps that gains you power but it's hard to tell without a dyno.
Sorry for the lesson in psych, thought it would help to clarify.
Oh the mod bug bit on the drive home from the dealership if not before that, but I blew all my "for fun" money on a new TV this month, and now I'm trying not to spend anymore but it's so hard...damn G.

I installed it myself last week. After resetting the computer and really moving on it for a couple of hundred miles the real range difference is 4k like someone else said. At low end I felt no difference high end was complimented by the mid-range kick.
Plan on doing intake next. These modifications were really for the sake of sound I was expecting nothing from it either. Well at least nothing major.
The only thing I am debating on is Stillen or Nismo CAI. Youtube doesn't help much.

This really made sense. I am going to get mine this month. So you would say the feel of power gain would be around 4k RPM? If so, is it just climbing up faster? and also stated above, why didnt you get a larger spacer?
