Good try DH, but if they were indeed upside down, there wouldn't be any light output so close to the car as shown in one of the pics.

like I said just a shot, he said it was aimed so low that anymore and it would be useless and in the pics there is a sharp cutoff on the bottom with not much spill so I assumed that that was the upper projector cutoff line.

 

Well, the HID system itself costs around $500 (Phillips), and you've got grills, and projector housing for yoru fog lights... If it is 1700 with installation, and if it is a very high quality fog light, I think that just does it. However, if you want to add 1700 foglight, why don't you do a customized job on your reflective housing and replace with BMW projector bulb.. I was quoted around 1500 including labor.. even better =)

About that driving light.. I have no idea why you want to replace it with stock lights? It is the same reflective housing as well..... Any difference?
