New member and new owner

Just wanted to say hello to you all. I picked up my silver coupe monday night and i can't get over what a great value it is. I LOVE everything about it and cannot stop driving it. The exhuast note is awesome (but i heard people were deleting the resonators and that it improved the sound even more). It handles like a madman, and the brakes (brembos) are fantastic. I'm gonna wait before i go crazy modding it out. Thought I would try to enjoy it in stock form. The navigation system is awesome although i want to be able to play real dvd movies on it (anyone have a hook up?).

My one gripe is the that the seat warmers are hooked up in reverse. It seems that the left switch turns on the right seat warmer and vice versa. Should be covered under warranty.

Over all, I'm very satisfied with my purchase as, I'm sure, all of you are!

Re: New member and new owner

i ordered mine late january... so like most people we have to wait in that long a$$ line of people, but hopefully someone backs out... but i think it would be exciting to wait for my own special ordered car... it makes me feel special!

did you order yours or did you just decide to buy one as soon as you saw it?

I bought it as soon as i saw it. Exact color, specifications, EVERYTHING. I guess I got really lucky.

yes you were! one thing i'm fine with is that i get to wait and save more money to put down... it's also nice to know that i am the youngest client that my dealership has had so far... would love to see what you do to your car as soon as you do it so make sure you show us...

Welcome to g35Driver Sean. We're all happy with our G's too and glad you could join us.
The seat warmer issue should be an easy fix at the dealer's.
Pay a visit to our Rides Section and post some pics bro.

Wow, I would've LOVED it if they had my car (6MT Black, Willow, Aero, Prem) that just happened to be sitting around the dealer lot. Haha yea good luck with that one....

Can you post pictures? I've been wanting to see that exact car in real world pictures, not the companies doctored up ones. Thanks!

Re: New member and new owner

Congratulations! I have had my Coupe for a few weeks now. I know what you mean. Speaking of seat heaters...mine are not wired backwards but under 100% load, after 10 minutes they really cook the butt. I left mine on one day and I realized things were getting out hand when my wallet began to smoke.

Re: New member and new owner

That seems to be the complaint about the G35 seat warmers.. they heat up really slowly, and the two settings (Low and High) are better described as Hot and Human Roaster.
