PermaPlate question

I am supposed to have the PermaPlate (paint and interior sealant) applied but I am having second thoughts about it. What do you guys think?

Re: PermaPlate question

They offered to put it on my car for $500 extra. I did think it was worth in Cali. Maybe if I lived in a State with alot of Rain or Snow though. I've also heard horror stories about after market "protectant coats" hazing or fogging up after a couple of years. I'd say skip it unless you in real bad weather. Peace.

Re: PermaPlate question

I would go without it, save those bucks and just wax/polish your car once a year with professional polishes like Zaino or Klasse

Re: PermaPlate question

I was just about to post a topic on something like this. I dont know much about paints and clearcoats, but I would love to have a thicker clearcoat. From what you just said though I think you took me out of the market. If most aftermarket coats are likely to haze then forget about it.

Re: PermaPlate question

A good friend of minei had a bad experience with yellowing from a clear bra on a previous car. So i am a little biased towards them. Im am sure the technolgoy has improved since then though.
