Some pretty basic G35 questions...

Hey all,

This is my first post, I have a few questions about G35's, since I plan on getting one this winter. The questions I have are pretty basic, but I don't think I would have too much luck with searching for them. Anyways, here they are:

1) Are exhaust and intake parts interchangeable between G35's and 350Z's?
2) What is the bolt pattern for G35's?
3) What is the OEM wheel offset on G35's?
4) What aftermarket exhaust sounds closest to the OEM exhaust tone, just louder?
5) How is the resell value on G35's? In four years, are they going to be worth nothing with under 100,000 miles on them?

Thanks for all your help, if I come across more questions, I will post them up. Thanks again!

-Rob

It's just a flashy/expensive intake, it wont have more gains than any other aftermarket intake.

5) G35 coupes hold their value very well, they are on some top 10 best value holding lists, I think on KBB and Automotive.com.

2003's can go for 20k, and that's withOUT Nav.

^no way can a 2003 go for 20K.

a 2006 now goes for about mid 20's.

values have plummeted since the G37 came out. nobody wants the old style when the new one is faster and the new kid on the block.

Intakes yes; Exhausts somewhat. 350Z is slightly shorter in vehicle length compared to G35 coupes.

1.) the tubes are interchageable, but if you get cold air boxes(ie. stillen, arc, etc.) then those arent, exhaust are interchangeable but you need a 6" extention to run a Z exhaust. But the G has just about the same exhausts as the Z so that shouldn't be a problem.

4.) Def. Fast Intentions, also you can add test pipes or High flow cats to your stock exhaust, that will also make it a lil louder.

5.) resale value is pretty good, the G is one of the best, do a search on here G-girl recently made a thread about the top 7 cars for resale value, the G was #6 or something.

It said the SEDAN G35 was in the top 7, said nothing about a coupe.

Coupes hold their value better than sedans.

They probably did it on the sedan because it is much more common.

And to Civic4892, there is a 2003 coupe, most things on it (No Nav) going for 19,990 at my local dealer. And that's with 70k miles on it. I didn't say all go for 20k.
