Re: 04 coupe veering right??
Have your G checked. The dealer should cover it since you've only had your G for such a short time.

Take is to the dealer.
There is a TSB for that.
==============================
Service Bulletin Num : 03028 Date of Bulletin: ?
Type: Coupe
Component: FRONT AXLE/SUSPENSION
Summary: Steering Drift to the Right
IF YOU CONFIRM: The vehicle has a tendency for a constant drift to the right on a straight, flat road at highway speeds. NOTE: A vehicle is said to drift, if The vehicle completes a lane change in less than 7 seconds and with no steering correctionfrom the driver and when driving at 60 mph and all four wheels must pass into the other lane during this time (7 seconds) and while driving on a crown-sloped road of less than 1 percent.
ACTIONS: Verify the incident drift as described above. Install the right front suspension compression rod from the Parts Information section of this bulletin.

Re: 04 coupe veering right??
Yep I took mine back and referenced the TSB. My G was doing the same exact thing (right pull). The dealer replaced the compression rod first. However, they did NOT do an alignment when they changed the compression rod, so it still had a slight pull. I then took it back and they did an alignment with their new $30k high-tech alignment machine. You would think they would have done this the first time. I recommend you have them check the alignment after they replace the rod if that is your problem, so you don't have to make a 2nd trip back. Now my car drives perfectly straight. Yeah!!

check first your tire pressure before bringing it to the dealer. the sensors will light up only if any tire is less than 25 or 26 i think. but uneven tire pressure up front, for ex. left=33, right=27, would cause your car to veer to to the right.

Re: 04 coupe veering right??
I agree with bogler but for a different reason. I caught my dealership in lie when they told me it was the tire pressure that was causing my sedan to pull. I had checked the tire pressures the day before thinking that was the problem. I took the G in and they said that it was the tire pressure. I thought that I could have made a mistake but when I picked the car up, it still had the pull. I got home and checked the pressures again. They were the same as the day before.

hey guys,
i just got my car back from metro infiniti and they supposedly fixed the veering to the right problem by replacing the compression rod and then doing an alignment, but after driving home from the dealership i notice the car is still doing the same thing, it's still veering to the right kinda quick. the guy there tells me all the g35 coupe drives like that. is this true? do your g veer to the right? thanks

Not true! The tech is BSing you.
What kind of car is that that you need to hold the steering wheel turned slightly to the left in order to go straight? I would take it back and demand them to fix it.

Re: 04 coupe veering right??
I had the compression rod thing done. Helped a little.
Took it in again.
A little better. But wheel still needs to be cocked to the left to drive straight.
Driven on a level road with the wheel straight, it goes to the right.
With hands off, on a left tilted road it veers left.
Very very annoying. But I can't trust anyone to work on this car. Everytime I've taken it anywhere and let anyone else touch it, something gets F'ed Up.
I'll live with it..............

Re: 04 coupe veering right??
I guess I'm lucky that my dealer got that new high-tech alignment machine. In fact, the service manager suggested I waited for it to arrive and be installed before they did my alignment. (5-6 days) I am very glad I waited. I guess all dealers don't have this new $30k machine. That sucks...
Mine drives very straight now.
