To get a G or not ?????

Im starting to question if i should buy a G35c anymore. Problems like: AT shudder..Shift lag...AC+radio problems...Gear Grinding. Is it just me or does this forum make it seem worse than it really is??

go to any forum and you'll find problems with any car.. the G is reliable over 150k+ miles and has little problems such as you listed.. as long as you have warranty you'll be set

It's a forum - any and every problem people have will be brought up here so that they can try to find a solution.

That having been said, the G is an incredibly reliable car, and most any major problem is covered by warranty.

I also own a 2k SE Maxima, at 225K. It is simply THE MOST reliable car that I have ever owned. And I've owned mny cars in the past. People will complain in forums and get others to help them fnd solutions for all sorts of problems. My buddies on www.maxima.org are wonderful when it comes to helping out. I'm hoping my Coupe will deliver at least that much mileage.

if your buying a new one, almost 50grand, then there's a lot of choices evo, 335i, Mazdaspeed3, sti, etc. However, if your looking for a used decent, reliable and fun to drive car for under 20 Grand then a used G35Coupe will do. I dont see any 2003 model vehicle that can beat my car value and performance wise combined. example, No 2003 3series BMW can outperform my 03 coupe unless it's M3 which is more expensive. And the fun part is 03 coupe still looks good. it's even sexier looking that some of 08's model of different brand.

i don't have any problems as you mentioned, but its a manufactured piece of equipment and stuff will fail, just so far i think this car is very reliable. Only problem is the radio sucks *** but i ordered a double din ,, ha so im good. Im also running on 4 lug nuts, since one is stripped, and eats brake pads but damn i love my car. My mom has maxima and yea its reliable but ive changed the alternator and coil and that was expensaive. Soo... you cant go wrong with a well built japanese car, dont complain. My friend had a e46 m3 that we drove the Arizona from San Francisco, and man 13hrs it was a coo drive. A week later the engine blew.. covered luckly.. but sat for a month. But get this after a few weeks the smg pump failed costing him 3 grand out of pocket. Electrical problems left and right. woot woot and i wokred at sfbmw.

Just so you know, your brain is only remembering the problems. People won't post Hey I've never had a problem with my car!

It's an extremely reliable car, and all of the problems on here are rare to uncommon. Even the oil consumption issue is uncommon, but no one's gonna make a thread that says I don't have OC.
