What should i do??

i got my car back a week ago from getting the front bumper repair after hitting a HUGE pothole. but the shop didnt ask for the deductable and gave me my keys and watched me drive out of the garage... (i didnt have time to inspect the car when i left because i was rushing to a date. but i did noticed that they mounted a tire on backwards going against the treads. also my alignment is off after the shop did the alignment. i check the tire pressure and all tire psi were 18,24,22,29PSI and i know you need to have the same
PSI to do an alignment. and the messed up on the fender when they did the clearcoat.)

So mainly im very upset at the work and i did not want to go back for them to repair what the messed up. so i still havent paided the deductable but now i dont wanna cuz of the terrible work. a few days ago, i got a message saying they will press charges on me if i dont pay and i will lose my insurance cuz of insurance fraud. Is that possible?? i was wondering what others may think of my situation?? any thoughts on this would be appreciated. as of now i still havent paid the $500 but did get my wheel remounted and balanced and had the wheels aligned.
Thanks in advance...

Re: What should i do??

Call your insurance company and tell them the story. They will make the shop repair the vehicle properly. They also will not make you pay your deductible until the work is completed.

Then again, you basically admitted to trying to rip off a body shop (not paying your deductible and leaving quickly before they realized it)... so what comes around goes around.

300bhp??? We'll see... 5-22-2004

Re: What should i do??

i did not leave the shop quick, i talked to them about the car and my date then signed the release paper and other paper work that they wanted me to sign. it was after the shop closed, they didnt call me until a week later after they realized they were short on payment... i didnt realize it myself until i got the phone call... the man thing is that i did not want to go back there. i already got the alignment and my wheel remounted... jus need the fender fixed but its not so noticeable... thank you for your response

You signed the release. You have to pay the deductible. About all you can do is get them to fix the problems at no extra charge.
