when i take a pic of it it looks the same and y would it need air lol

Maybe you have a dying ballast or bulb. I'd get it checked out.

According to the owner's manual, the bulbs turn reddish when they are dying. Maybe that is what you are seeing.

what year headlights?
i have a full set of 03-05 headlight bulbs just sitting here doing nothing if you are interested.
