Slow leak...

Slow leak...

Any recommendations of a product to use for a left rear tire that needs air every few days? Its a slow leaker....

i used some of that green goo colored stuff and it worked decently... but in retrospect i wouldnt do it again. my drivers side front and rear were leaking, i took them in last weekend and they found a nail and screw. 10 bucks to fix each at a good tire place and its a much better fix.

Has anybody tried the Green Slime product?

I would not try any of that sealant stuff. It may ruin your TPS sensors.

yes i used it and i wouldnt again. just take it in and get it fixed it takes all of 1 hour and like 5-10 bucks and is a real fix.

get soap and water and spray all over the tire and valve stem.. U should see bubbles where the leak is coming from.

I've used it also...it seals it up but mannnnn, it causes your wheels to be off balanced. I've tried to use as little as possible, just enough to seal it but it still manages to be off balanced. It'll shake like crazy at 60mph...and trust me on this, you would rather have a slow leak than the insane vibrations from an off balance wheel.

It evens states on their website that it will affect wheel balance in the FAQ section which I failed to pay attention to.
