sigh i had the worst day today
i was driving home today after work like
any other day..when i was goin threw a bumpy road(i had
my windows down) i heard SQUEAKING noises coming from the
front of my car ..As some of you may know my G35 had
squeaking noises coming from the front a couple months ago
but INFINITI fixed it..but now the sound has come back!!!!
and im pissed...b/c im out of warranty!!!..

wow now im thinking about trading in my G for sure this time..
im sick of every month something goin wrong with my car..
the rattles,the rearview mirror rattling,my door lock goin out,my heated
seat lights goin out,the windows dont roll up automatically sometimes!!!
ugh the list goes on and on...............................

Download the G35 tech manual and do some DIY, it's kind of fun (in a turn lemons into lemonade sort of way) and you'll learn something. I've been doing a lot of DIY maintenance and mods on my car and it's a great feeling to really KNOW your car. But if you are really fed up with the car though, then get rid of it. No point making payments on something that irks you.

Our cars ARE pretty badly built, my camshaft position sensor went out the other day and left me stranded on the highway. Just a few weeks before that my driver side lock actuator went out. But I'm under warranty and lucky to have a great Infiniti dealership around me to help (thanks IOA!).

The sheer amount of problems and bulletins on these cars is ridiculous for a supposedly luxury car, but everytime I get on the gas pedal or walk to my car, it reminds me why I bought it in the first place. Best of luck to you and whatever you decide to do.

Oh and plz give me your kuruma diffuser, I'll be your best friend forever.

 

^ i hear ya but i just dont have the time nor patience to try and figure out where the sound is coming from..well i kno its coming from where in the front but not sure where....i cant see myself paying $450 a month for the next 4.5 years on a car that is squeaking and having other problems and such lol..ill just have to see how it plays...

How do you go from choices being an M35x, a large luxury passenger car, making us think you need a bigger car for some reason, to a 350z, a sporty car with 2 seats and no luxury?

Oh ok, the M is a completely different handling car. And BMW your just gonna get more frustrated when your on the side of the road next to a broken down car once a week.

Maybe just wait for a G37? Or a G37 sedan if you want 4 door. JMHO. I haven't heard anything about the new G's being ****ty besides the exhaust which I believe was fixed.
