I just put on my new rims yesterday, but on the front wheels when i was putting them on, there was this other small bolt that i had to take off to fit the rim on. Does anyone know what this is, and is it alright if i take it off and drive like that.

The small bolt is fine to take off. It prevents ppl from rotating the rear wheel to the front by mistake.
