The rear end gets away from you fast whenever you increase power in the middle of a turn, vdc on or off.

Most of the more "seasoned" members learnt and recommend a long time ago to not turn off the VDC unless at the track drag racing. I guess we have to have a few more accidents, one or two a month for everyone to learn to keep it on in most situations.

Re: has this happened to anyone?
I guess I feel the exact opposite:
https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ts&Main=260480 My experiences with vdc have been this.....I've driven faster, lighter, and cars with much more torque, in bad weather and good and always learned to be responsible with the car in bad weather. Driving is a responsibility and you have to understand that, gasing it around a turn in the rain isn't exactly the smartest thing to do, but we've all been guilty of it at some point. Its part of learning the car, however, because I actually enjoy learning my car, how it reacts to everything and hopefully, account for almost every variable I can, the G's VDC is about as useful to me as my card holder. IMO its very over reactive, and causes more problems than it's worth. 2003.5 G Coupe premium. 6MT Black/black Come join the G35Driver chat on EFnet. Channel name is #G35Driver. Re: has this happened to anyone?
Don't just be careful in the rain. One time, when I had 2,250 miles on the car, I went for a drive with my friend (nice sunny day, roads were completely dry). I was on these backroads and I turned the VDC off and I gassed it too hard into the turn and we spun out for a long time and I smashed into two curbs. Bent the rear axle rod, needed a new one of those, a whole new left rear rim, shock absorber, spring, and some other sh*t. No damage to the body, only to the wheel itself....came to a total of $4,500...nobody deserves to go through something like that, but I haven't turned my VDC off once since then.

I don't turn off my VDC unless I am on track or in an empty parking lot having some fun. Honestly if you are activating the VDC on public road you are overdriving the car.
