My friend pointed out that my G has the trim along the door. I hadnt even noticed that some have it and some dont. Why is this?

 

you mean the bodyside molding??? its an dealer installed options.

AFAIK BSM should be fairly easy to remove cleanly as well. If my car had come with it on, I'd have taken it off.

04 Coupe 6MT Laser/Graphite Premium No Aero

 

Not sure about the coupe, but one of the guys on 6mt.net tried to take them off of his sedan and there are some holes either in the doors or quarterpanels.
