different intersection, could mean different speed limits. That would help you otherwise I don't think it matters too much.

sorry to hear that. Get a Valentine 1 and an attorney. I got a 60 Plus in a 30 zone. Got an attorney, went to court and the porker never showed up. Ticket dismissed.

well check out the intersection because at the intersection written on the ticket there must be a posted speed limit sign which states SPEED CHECKED BY RADAR also the officer must be located 100 yards before or after the location of the speed limit sign. good luck

Re: just got a ticket...

each state has variances on technicalities... Easiest way to get out of it is go to the circuit clerk today and tell them you're going to plead innocent and want your ticket moved to as soon as possible. They'll move it up, go to court, chances are cop won't be there because they only go on certain days (and sometimes won't go because it's just 1 ticket and they hate going to), but you even have a greater chance that the state doesn't have the file yet and they'll drop it. They won't have the file because they are slow and disorganized.

Re: just got a ticket...

Got a ticket about a month ago for 65 in a 40, here in south florida. I went to one of those ticket fighting attorneys. Cost me about 75$ with $50 court costs. No points or nothing on my record. Ticket was dismissed, alot of these attorneys have connections with judges and its understood.

Best bet get an attorney, I didn't even have to show at court and it cost me less than the ticket and insurance increases would have cost. By far. Good Luck...

How funny, beavis. I did the same thing last fall for my last ticket in my old car--no points, but court costs and attorney fees (fees were a bit high compared to what you paid)... 'Just got my first ticket in the G 2 days ago (also in So-Fla) and I'm gonna have one of those attorneys fight it again. Which one did you use (you can PM me if you want)? Just curious.
