I came up against the new Tiburon. Had the V6. It was me about 2-3 car lengths till about 60 after that see ya. I researched the Tiburon (172 horses) stock. The car is pretty light but motor is weak as HE##.

I always assumed they were weak, and no I did not start with the guy, he asked for it multiple times befor I let him have it.

 

tiburon is not that fast at all... I once raced tiburon in my friend's RSX-S.. I was doing 80 MPH and I downshift to fourth gear... BAMMM.. the VTEC was on and gave the tiburon a good spanking...

well i was going down to LA n there was a black tiburon wanting some piece of me so we raced till about... 120 mph? of course i smoked it but by not much... 5 car length? yeah, i tho i would be about to just... take off away from it... they have 6 speed manual n 181 hp...

 

well...g35 can burn tiburon no doubt..but its like 15K cheaper and i think it looks pretty nice...its a pretty nice car for what the price is....

What does being Korean have to do with buying a korean car? I buy things based on quality and not where I'm from and I think it's stupid to do so. I knew an idiot who thought he was an all-star korean and use to say that he'd buy a paper bag and wear them as shoes if they were made in Korea. He also use to make ludicrous claims that the Tiburon is a better car than any Japenese car (obviously blinded by his pseudo-patriotism). Needless to say, he drives a Nissan Maxima and is the epitome of stupidity. God, (most) fobs are retarded.

 

hmm? i dun think dragongcoupe said anything about being korean...? but...i agree with you...there's alot of patriotic people who feels like they r obligated to buy products from their own country...korea is not the only...alot of people buy POS american cars anyway in the U.S....(not saying all american cars are POS...)

For the money, you can't beat it. It looks are based on a Ferrari, it has a small and light V6, 6 speed AND aftermarket support. Personally, if my budget were stingier, I'd have bought one. Hyundai was ranked #3 on new car reliability last year.

i'm korean but i hate the tiburon. i've said this before.
BUT out of all the korean cars i know, i think tiburon is one of the better ones. engine sucks as hell and i think from like 30-50 mph it's like a slug. hook it up right and it'll be a good car. but of course the G35 will always be better. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]
