Mobil 1 claims they have a 15,000 mile oil. I thought i'd give it a try. I am currently at 7500 miles. I do have a question, do you think the oil will burn at all? Should i check the oil level? If it's below should i add oil?(the same kind) Do you think i should go to the end of the 15k before i change the oil, or should i do it earlier? I also am using a k&N oil filter.

 

I think you should be fine, but you should always check your oil level. Your always bound to lose some oil driving, if so just fill it w/ the same kind. But a lot of people on this forum baby there cars and do more frequent oilchanges even on synthetic. It doesnt hurt to change more frequently. =)
