Re: Pics of my IP coupe
The wing was dealer installed, but is an infiniti "factory" wing. I also have the rear diffusers under the body.. per the aero pkg.

Re: Pics of my IP coupe
I did the drag strip thing once, and I am no Don Garlits off the line. Spun the tires BADDLY, second run messed up the third gear shift... didn't grid the gears or anything... just very slow shift. The third run, I tried to start so carefully, I bogged the motor
Not that I did not have fun.
Yes I made the cover. No, I didn't make a pattern to make it easier a second time. So, I would probably want too much money to make it worth my time
I used peg board type material, but without the holes. I got a free scrape from the upolstery shop that gave me two pieces of vinyl that matched the interior of the car. I made a solid oval from the particle board and covered that in the light vinyl. Then I made the infiniti symbol out of another piece of board and covered it in the darker vinyl. Everything is stuck together with spray adhesive. I cut the boarding with a coping saw... it kind of looks like a hack saw but with a very skinny blade. Thanks for the interest though.... it took me about a day to draw the pattern that I cut out and used, round off the edges of the board after cutting, then the glueing on of the vinyl.

Re: Pics of my IP coupe
I guess if I had interest in more than one cover, I could make a few. I don't know how much supplies would cost, or how long it would take once I made a pattern. Since I only wanted to make one, I got scraps for next to nothing.
Good eye. It is Fort Desoto. I could not think of many places you could drive on the grass, and I love that spot near the skyway.
I don't have any idea why the pictures wouldn't come up for someone

NICE!
That wing looks like an aftermarket wing seems to stick out a little further than the stock one.
