rent it....

to a rental company - lol

or if your safe is big enough, put it there. You will never know when "envy" will attack your G when it is all alone.....
joking - lol

Did you have some one that you call really trust to take good care of your G? Trusthy enough to just star your engine from time to time without going for a trip with it?

I shoulda just made a new thread... The OP made this a year ago, and he's probably already gone. I am the one that's going away, for a year and a half. I need to know what to do to ensure my engine doesn't seize.

I'm leaving for a minimum of a year and a half. I will store my car, and my main concern is my engine seizing up. Is there any cause for concern? Is there some additive I should put in before storing it to lubricate the cylinder walls?
damnit this is your fault i feel dumb!

Remove your spark plugs and add a few drops of 2-stroke oil in each cylinder through each spark plug hole. Then, with the plugs still out, turn the key to the START position for a second so that the pistons all move in the cylinders. Then maybe add another drop or 2 to each cylinder and then put your spark plugs back in and don't start the car back up until you return from your trip.

Even if you don't do this, your motor won't seize... especially if you have synthetic oil in there.

Out of curiosity... where are you going for a year and a half or more?

Thanks for the advice!
I'm going to Korea actually, I may also decide to do a year in Japan depending on how things turn out.
