I have a quick question - my salesman called me today to give me the order number for my G35c order. Now the question I have is, what good is an order #? Is there a site where I can check the status of my order or something?

The only way to track the order:
1) fly to Japan
2) wait outside the factory until you find your vin#
3) follow it back on the boat.
Only the dealer can track the order # - and they have a hard time doing it.

So I guess there is no point in him calling me to give me my order number and then in a couple of weeks my vin #, right? I guess it just lets me know that my order was placed?
