If you hti something, that'll protect your OIL PAN.

Trust me, I know guys that have put holes in their oil pan or knocked it off completely because they didn't run a tray...

Also it helps with Aero/Cooling.

I am pretty sure that flimsy little plastic would have saved them, but each to his own...

may or may not protect the oil pan, but it 100% directs airs and forces it over the FMIC or radiator. But if you drive your car like a sissy, that doesnt matter either

I HATEEEEE the fvcking damn tray. I had to buy a new one from Riverside too. It sucked as it broke from being too low. But, I won't drive without it. Too much expensive plumbing down there, and I don't want a hole in my oil pan.

What the hell are you talking about it may or may not protect the oil pan? It will directly stop ANY rock or piece of debris that will hit under the car. If its anything large, you have worse things to worry about than the bottom of your engine.

I have noticed that the G stays cleaner than any other car I have ever had. So THAT'S why.
