Smoking Tail Lights/ Head lights..

I want to get my tail lights blacked out and my head lights, but I havent decided if I want to spend the money at a tint shop or if I bought the pre-cut tint off ebay and did it myself? Has anyone ever used to products off ebay or other stores? Plus finding a tint shop that actually will tint the head/tail is hard.... any advice??

I bought that crap off ebay when I first did mine... I took it off after a week.
I wish I woulda went with bats overlays first...
I just redid mine, but with Nite Shades spray paint... I got advice from a few others who did it before I bought it.
It turned out better than good and you basically get to customize any part that you want... It was my first time painting, it was veryyyyy easy and looks better than any others I've seen with vinyl IMO, but maybe thats cause I did it. :P
Ill take pics and help you if you need it...

yep, i'm ordering overlays all around shortly for mine.

another option is quick and dirty DIY tint with NiteShades (as mentioned above).

years ago i smoked the tails on my old ride - a maxima - using VHT NiteShades...worked like a champ.

back then, i did a how-to here:

http://www.kevinfisher.net/web_serve...light-mod.html

obviously it's a maxima...but the info about Niteshades might be helpful to you none-the-less.

Be aware that depending on your state, you may not be able to pass inspection with smoked taillights.

It wouldn't look anywhere as good as the first time, you could tell it had been put back on, but yeah i guess...
