Has anyone ever had an issue with that cable breaking? Mine did and the '03 is out of warranty and the extended one I got won’ cover that for some stupid reason. Anyway I tried a search and really only found this thread about it. Anyone have any thoughts getting this repaired? Not liking the thought of coming out of pocket to the dealer for something that seems like it should be fairly easy.

 

 

 

Yes, the sedan rear seats don't fold down. The premium package equipped sedans had reclining rear seats though. They're pretty cool...

 

Ohhh I always though both styles had the fold-down seat? How does someone get into the trunk on a sedan when the wires in the harness breaks? The lower seat section still pulls up to access the fuel pump yes? Can you just unbolt the upper section and remove it too?

 

On the sedans, the rear seat center armrest folds up into the seat back to create an uncomfortable fifth seat. When folded down, there's an access door into the trunk (it's how you get long 2 x 4s home). You reach through the access door to pull the emergency release in the trunk.

Yes the amps were painted LS. Got lucky and bought them that way.
