I think we have the same spoiler, but mine is CF. Its a christmas gift, so i cant install it yet. I dont think my g/f know about it yet, so unless she checks this site, I want to keep it a surprise. She's wanted one for awhile. Now if I could only find some side skirts that arent gonna cost an arm and a leg I'd be happy

 

lol the only thing about double sided tape is.. if u got 120mph and ur wing flies/falls off... u cant really pull over and go and get it.. and even if u do... im sure it's gonna b a pain to glue back all the pieces back together lol.

Jesus, everybody is doing the red tape around the lip now lol. I did mine a couple of weeks ago, calvin did his a bunch of the Z guys have done it, now this guy..... lol

You should get some wider electric tape and redo your lip.

 

So has there been any reports with someone losing there trunk lip or roof spolier that was being held on by 3m tape?

Well I had the red tape around the lip for quite some time now. Well before calvin, but just never posted up pictures. I got the idea from my350z when they first posted up the idea probably over 8 months ago. I didnt use electric tape dude. I went and bought pinstripe vinyl and added it around the lip. I guess everyone doing it now that you just added the red lips couple of weeks ago. Should take mine off now that its overplayed lol.

 

I think the 3M tape is pretty strong. All the eyelids are taped on with 3m tape so if those are staying on then the rest would stay on also if u use enough tape all the way around.

Also the CF roof spoiler looks good OP. great find

after reading over the ebay auction, I noticed it said it comes with the tape. I never fully opened the box, just enough to take the spoiler out and look at it, and come to find out, there's a roll of ref 3M tape inside for me.

And its not TRUE CF, but its Polyeurethane with a CF print (looks like real CF, so no one can tell)
