Opinions from Coupe owners after damage
Since the friggin moderators moved my first thread (probably without even reading my post) to detailing forum, I'm making another thread. Don't move it this time!!! Has nothing to do with detailing!
If you are like me and loved to clean and polish your baby, do you still do it after you got dinged, dented, scratched for that very first time? Well, after you got it fixed? I think I lost my love for my car. It's damaged goods now. Doesn't even feel right to drive her, because I know everyone I leave in the dust is only going to see that huge *** dent in my rear bumper. Feel like I'm a bum driving half a car I don't even care about making her perfect anymore, because it'll only be more heartache if something happens again. I just want the huge dent removed. I can live with the paint chips and scratches where the dent used to be. Am I losing it?
Speaking of the bumper, the rear caves in like an aluminum friggin can. There was not a single support/brace where I got hit. Pure plastic that caved like nothing else I've seen. For all I know, one of my friends could have caused it, but we weren't sure and saw absolutely no evidence on their cars, even though they were willing to take the blame and help pay. But without concrete evidence, I would have felt bad having someone else pay. It's only cash, and I'll make more, but damn, it's one cheap a$$ bumper. And if my friend did indeed cause it, it's one damn cheap a$$ bumper, as it did no visible damage to her car at all! I'm pissed at the cheap bumper, not my friends. Cars come and go, but good friends are hard to find.

Re: Opinions from Coupe owners after damage
I can relate to your feelings.... but the only way to keep a car perfect is NOT to drive it. If you want a show car then you must treat your G that way. Dont drive it and tow it everywhere.
Get your car fixed by a quality shop and I can bet you will be happy again. All of us get pissed at that first scratch or ding, but its inevitable something will happen.
