good or bad
hey guys well winter started in Canada and im not driving my g35 but the car is outside in my uncle's drive way, i changed the engine oil and i did the 3x3 tranny fluid change, im going to spray some lubricant greese on the hood hinges. but my friend said that to start the car atleast 1 time every week so the oil would stay in the valvetrain. is it true or BS, will it be gd starting the car every time or should i leave like thi?.I only put the plug to let the oil in mild temperature.

Why isn't it in your uncle's garage? There was another thread about this and the one guy who seemed pretty knowledagble said that starting it can actually hurt it.
Also, I think you're supposed to over inflate the tires and take out the battery and attach it to something that charges it(I think it was called a trickle charger.)

I would also invest in a nice car cover to protect the paint. Clean it and then cover it in some way, so that way you won't get water etching and stuff all over it and have to pay for an expensive detail.
If you don't wanna spend money on a car cover, at least find some make shift way to keep the snow off of it. I would reccomend a car cover with a soft inside and that keeps to your cars profile, because if you just throw a tarp over it or something, everytime the wind blows it's gonna rub the hard fibers against it and scratch your paint.
