Wondering if any of you who have IP regret getting IP? My concerns are that it may not shine in the sun as much as others (could be a false concern), and that white is generally hard to keep clean too.

 

I LOVE my IP G35!!! It has been pretty easy to maintain and keep clean. When it gets dirty(I rarely let it get that way) it doesn't really show. I think it is easier to keep clean than the dark colors. I don't have any problem getting it to shine. The pearl make it sparkle as well. One advantage is that there is less of them out there than some of the other colors.

Love my IP - the front chips alot with the original paint. My neighbor backed into my front bumber and had it repainted. No chips so far (4 months)! Doesn't show dirt as much as you think. When cleaned then you will notice how dull it was before. The bad thing about white front bumber is the dead bugs (always cleaning it)!

I would buy the same color again in a second.

i think there is a false notion that lighter colored cars get dirtier. however, i think it's the opposite. i've had a white car in the past and it doesn't show as bad as the black car that i've owned. i believe the darker the color, the dirtier it appears when it's even slightly spotted.

 

I love mine. It's not white, it's more pearly and really gleams some interesting colors under the light.

Only problem with it I have is the two step touch up paint process, it's a PITA.

It does not show pollen like the darker colors, doesn't show water spots, but does show any kind of dark dirt.

I've seen them coming head on at me and the white really jumps out. Beautiful color.

I love my IP. I had SNA before and it just wasn't the same as my new IP.

One other thing that I will add in addition to the comments above. The IP can be hard to wax if you use a white color wax (most of which are). It can be hard to see where the wax has been applied and where it has been buffed off.

 

Ivory Pearl is the color I wish I got. No swirls and it definitely doesn;t look as dirty when it is. However, the only bad thing with pearl is that if God forbid you get hit. The color is extremely hard to match and will therefore require x-tra components to be painted. Thats one of the only problems along with the bumpers not matching the rest of the body panels properly. Nice color though, so just dont get hit (lol) or be willing to pay an arm and a leg

 

i love my IP. i'll get another too.

It really is a great color. Very easy to maintain, and alot less work than black or twilight blue.....but the darker colors reflect a lot more light.....heres my coupe after a good wash and detail some time back.....it still has a finish smooth like glass....and you don't have to wipe it down every other minute to keep it clean looking.....

rock chips, brake dust shows like crazy, bugs leave their streak like no other,... etc..etc..

but besides those.. IP is DAMNED SEXY

 

definitely no regrets on IP..

although i do kinda wish IP had the same rarity as the carribean blue..
there's so many IPs that have popped up in my area.. damn posers :P
