Trung, if you decide to get the '06 projector headlights best bet is to get
them NEW because there's a lot of junk on line, mostly recalled headlights.
We get most of our parts from Riverside Infiniti, the parts managers name
is Tony 1 800-919-8130. Let him know you're from G35 Driver....

All the recall is, is lowering the aim of the headlights down. Just my .02 but I would rather buy some cheap ones off of eBay and just lower the aim myself. It is safer to buy from Riverside though.

Trung, those recalls are not junks. They're just dif. setting and you only need to adjust a little to have it "legal". As for mine, it passed the inspection and the cut off are just as good as the non recall ones. Saved me my left nut.

Why would Nissan REPLACE all those '06 headlights if it only required a small
adjustment as you claim? There has to be more involved
here, Nissan doesn't go to the expense of replacing parts when only an
adjustment is required. Then there's the member here on Driver that found
the '06 headlights on ebay only to burn her car to the ground....can't forget
that one....

The incident was common knowledge here on Driver for 6 months. She is no
longer active on Driver due to the fire and lack of money received from her
insurance company. My guess is, She'll be back! She did have one of the
nicest IP Boosted coupes on the west coast. (she did all the work)

I'm just saying that I would get the recalled ones for much cheaper. Then again, if I had the money I might get the regular ones. I've gone through like 2 different threads and all the people concluded was that it was dim from certian angles and was angled too high.

And I don't think Sam's G35 was burned up due to faulty projectors per se, just something wrong with the wiring or installation. I'm just guessing, but a projector alone wouldn't burn the car up. I vaguely remember her saying something about her boosted fuel lines or something, but that was a massive amount of damage for it to be the projector.
