This vs. That

I took the car into my shop today to shampoo the carpets. Once it was all cleaned up, I stood back and stared at it for a while. Know what? I couldn't care less if something is 1/2 second quicker. I think this is one of the sweetest pieces of sheet metal around. Factor in price and handling and I wouldn't trade this car. I may want something different down the road but for now I am savoring this car like a fine cognac.

When I hear Coupe or a Mustang I snicker. To me a mustang is like a Grand Am. They are ok, but you see so many of them everywhere that you don't give them a second thought. People drool over my coupe every day. As a matter of fact, I drool over my coupe everyday. When I go to bed at night I look forward to driving to work the next day. Glory Be! No contest :-)

Gordgee, I think he needs some psychotherapy!! Next he will be divorcing his wife and marrying his coupe.

Hey Merlin. Can I take my car to therapy? If I can, then I'll go. Otherwise No!

Hey, anything's possible. Just come pick me up at my office and I can even fit you in during my lunch break. Reduced rate doing therapy while going for a drive BTW!

I agree with you on the looks and value. It may not be the fastest out there, but I still get looks and feel like a million bucks when I'm driving!

I love my G but I will be buried in my 65 Stang- There is just something about it...Love my 94 stang too...but you do see them all over. I still do think that an American V8 still has the sweetest sound coming from the exaust....often imitated never duplicated... aahhh sweet music.

I agree, once you get the 'horse' bug, you never really lose it. I've had a few myself and enjoyed every one. Wish I still had my '68 KR, but alas I'll have to make do with my Coupe. That'll be tough.:P) And yes, PPP, this machine is one sweet ride. Every time I look at her I think I'm pretty lucky.

Re: This vs. That

They do have suppository for the stang thing...it's called current gas prices...at 8-10 mi per gallon on the road course...it sure feels like it might be a suppository...
