ECON button???

For people with premium g35 coupes... does anyone have any idea what the ECON button is for??? I know it has to do with the air conditioner but what EXACTLY is it and what it does????

in my dads older I30 it would just shut the A/C compressor off

it lets more humidity in the cabin, so the A/C doesn't have to work as hard, thus being a little bit more ECONomical on fuel
