my SKYLINE badge came all uneven whats best way to place?

so i bought a skyline badge on ebay and when it arrived, i noticed it wasnt set perfectly straight to just place on to trunk lid. instead ive got to figure out what size spacing between lettering and best way to do is. Ive got several methods but open to suggestions. dont forget, i need to know the letter distance between each. is it the same as infniti? BTW I got it JDM from riverside WTF?

well mine was, put it on the trunk stick the letters in the wholes. maybe you got ripped off, because when it sordered from the dealer it somed with the foam template. they put it to the trunk and stick the letters in the wholes. they are already spaced

Precision Layouts....!

Lay it out on 2" blue tape first, that's where you measure and center to get it
just right. You could even use 1" blue tape between the letters to get the
spacing correct. Now that all the letters are spaced correctly tape your set up below where you intend to place the letters, make sure it's level....now
move your letters up on the trunklid. Get the idea?

bet he doesnt have a nissan either its an infiniti.

some people like to be different, this JDM things its not new its been around for a while so accept it. people in japan have rebadged there skyline 350gt (not to be confised with GT-R) to say infiniti because they dont sell g35's in japan and they want to be different.

if there is a car in another country say peru that has the same engine, chassis code and has the same body lines the only difference would be safety glass and where the stearing wheel is located. and one was sold as a lexus and the other was called a toyota, but for shear marketing the manufacturer changed the name because there was a different target market and they would make more money calling it something else.

so drowe i pose this question. is if you owned the toyota company, and could sell the same car for more money but call it something else would you? or you you chalk up the loss because you not really business minded but more of a nice guy?
