Unhappy Just got an 04 G35, Need help...

I just got a G35 and about a week after I got it, I had a very rough night of driving. Everytime I'd get to an intersection and would put the car in neutral, it'd quit on me. Everytime I stopped that night, it would do that. Now, it hasn't quit like that night, but the tach says the idle is around 2-3 hundred rpms when it gets warmed up. Sometimes when I come off the gas and throw it into neutral it idles down and almost quits, but not quite. Oh yeah, and the day after that rough night, I changed the oil, put full synthetic in it, and put a set of NGK V-Power Sparkplugs in it too. I took it to a shop and he said he couldn't hear a vaccuum leak, but I have no freakin clue. and too make things even worse, when I pop the hood under my car, I get a small hint of a burning smell.......any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!!

Recal

Recall Date : Nov 2004
Potential Number Of Units Affected : 58,000
Summary:
On certain passenger vehicles, the circuit board for the crank position sensor may have an improper solder joint due to solder deformation caused by heat stress accelerated by the existence of flux residue during the soldering process .
Consequence:
This could cause the "Service Engine Soon" warning light to come on, create a no start condition, cause reduce engine power, or cause the engine to stop running without warning during vehicle operation, which could result in a crash

whew I'll check it out. Any idea why I'd get the hint of something burning when I lift my hood up. Oil looks good, coolant isn't low.....I have no clue.

Something burning like a smell or like actual smoke?

Its really just a smell of something burning, no smoke or anything. I can't locate it. I was thinking about taking the car in and getting the full fuel system cleaned at the Valvoline down the block. Good idea?

ALRIGHT! I finally fixed my problem. I took apart the throttle body and the upper plenum. I used brake cleaner and removed ALL carbon. I took the MAF sensor out from the z-tube and used MAF sensor cleaner and installed all parts again. My rough idle went from 300rpms to a constant 600rpms after cleaning! I strongly suggest inspecting your Throttle body for carbon/dirt build up! Finally....I think I solved my problem.
