I've had my 2003 6MT coupe for over 3 years, I got it with 40k miles, I just hit 80k recently and I can honestly say I have not have had one mechanical issue with the car. I did, however, have the radio problem (dealer fixed it, it was certified pre-owned), and just recently my driver's side window stopped rolling down. So I guess I have the faulty window motor as well. However, trans wise, clutch wise, engine wise, the car has been very reliable. I have driven it pretty rough as well and have given it some abuse, but because of its reliability I am planning on keeping it until I graduate college in 2 years (or so I hope so :-P)

At 80K with a radio problem and window motor i would think the car is pretty good and reliable, more so if it has had some abuse !! . I hope the one i'm trying to get is as good as yours. thx for your post.

My first window motor died at 20,000 miles.
