Im planning to be getting full coverage (im 21) under the Allstate "family bundle" or whatever, and my cost will be at 1100 or so per half year!!!.. Dont' know why... but I would assume it's due to when I was around 16 years old I foolishly decided to street race about a month after I got my license and ended up with reckless driving, but who knows, other than that I've only gotten 1 speeding ticket (65 in a 55).

I am 24/m and have a 2003 6MT and pay $73 a month ($438 for 6 months) Full coverage with Nationwide.

Car is titled in my name and under my own policy. I had a 'not so good' driving record when I was younger. Dont think I have had a ticket in the past 4-5 years though.

Ours is $356 every six months, full coverage, with Allstate in Kentucky. I don't know if it matters, but we have 4 others vehicles insured also, so it might make it less, (also clean records). We are 36 and 32.

I'd say that it's not a bad rate for a single guy your age.

For the guy with 18 tickets, your state must be different than mine. In Kentucky, once you loose 12 points off your license, you loose your license and so you would have lost yours 2 or 3 times already here. ...Not to mention being nearly uninsurable with huge rates.

How many of you with the super low rates have a policy in your name only and not a parent listed on the policy?

Also, it is a myth that the color of your car changes your rate. I used to work for an insurance broker and none of the 7 companies I sold for cared what color your car was.

Full coverage with USAA no deductibles 550 for 6 months. A lot of insurance carriers are getting less leniant on people with credit lower than 650. You can have a perfect driving record and still pay an arm and a leg for insurance if youhave bad credit.

You can't just compare to other people and come to that conclusion, there are waaaay too many variables to do that. Location, for example, makes a huge difference. Insurance in New Jersey for example is going to be big $$$...

I actually have All-State as well. I pay like $525 every 6 months for my coupe for full coverage, and my wife even has a speeding ticket.

Our TL on the other-hand, we pay something like $840 every 6 months. According to the itemization, the Acura has much higher (as in triple) for comprehensive coverage. I'm assuming because of theft rates or something.

But I heard from others in other areas, have the opposite experience with their G being more than their TL, so who knows.

those with allstate.... there is a new program out called Your Choice Auto. You should ask your agent about it. I think its out in majority of the states already. I know that it just arrived in california. Although you may be paying more b/c you are upgrading but its worth it in the long run.

Most of you are paying pretty low monthly premiums. But what are your policy coverage limits? I hope you don't have one of those that only covers up to 60K policy. Just think if you were to get into an accident with a high end car that cost over 100K and your policy only covers you up to 60K. Then you are A$$$$$ OUT...
