HELP!! Drive belt broke, white smoke

just hoping someone can help out. My drive belt is about to snap. a chunk of it came off Im guessing its because of wear and tear. 133,xxxkms..belts havent been changed before.. anyways I havent started it in a week. and its been - 10 outside for the last week that it hasnt been started. I started it today to try to put it on ramps. when i tried to give it to get up the ramps i noticed white smoke starting to come out after 2 minutes of trying. Is something screwed or it just because the belt messed ?

Your post doesn't make sense. You spent two minutes trying to get up ramps and didn't, sounds like you were burning up the clutch. Just drive the thing up there and look, a chunk missing off your drive belt is nothing to worry about.

What he said. Drive belt snapping wouldn't make your car smoke. Would only affect power steering, AC, and alternator.

yea my driveway was slippery I couldnt put it up on the ramps.. could it be a cold start that makes it smoke? I ahvent started it in like 8 days and its been freezing outside.. I didnt let the car warm up either when i was trying to get it up on the ramps.

Here's a trick w/o burning your clutch, also because my car is low and can not go up the ramps. So I just use my jack and jack the car up then put the ramp in, do the same on the other side, voila.....your car is on the ramps.
