does anyone have the k&n air intakes that are advertised on this forum?

does it really give u a 9.4hp gain? how is the sound on it?

 

I was wondering the same thing.

 

Manufacture claims are not always correct! Don't get me wrong, K&N makes
some of the best filters available but I seriously doubt it's anywhere close to
9 RWHP. If you have a free flowing cat-back exhaust and plenum spacer
and HFC's you might show (on a cool day 40 degrees) 4 HP over OEM. But
that's not bad when you consider the cool sound it all makes togeather....

I think they are pretty god damn stupid to advertise that for a 2003-2005 G35, but show the 2007+ G35 Sedan, which not only is completely wrong but also has dual intakes.
