just do what you feel like. its your car. i used to have jdm badges, but i ended up putting back the infiniti logo back on. the whole thing about police looking up the car and its not matching their records thing got annoying.

Hoo-Cakes.
The new 2009 is Nissan GT-R not Nissan Skyline GT-R.
Nissan Motor never made a LHD Skyline.

GEEZ!!! Name calling!!! More passion about this issue than what oil to use!!

G35=SKYLINE anyway you look at them.
RHD vs LHD is nit picking...still the same car.
Infiniti is just a marketing gimmick to fool some folks into thinking they are buying something more than a Nissan.
I own my G's because they ARE Nissans AND RWD and they provide an excellent driving experience!!!
I basically switch from Furd to Nissan years ago owning (240SX, Max, Pathy's. G20)
Everywhere else in the world they are Nissan Skylines.

A lot of folks are proud of the Skyline heritage and that they own one that has been rebadged as an Infiniti. My son was much more impressed that we own two Skylines than two G35's. He's into video games and knows the Skyline.

I just don't see the big deal and the need to call other owners names.

Now, if you really want to discuss something that matters, lets discuss what oil you are using and how often you change it....

yeah I used to own a 240sx a year ago. I used to clown people who rebadged to the JDM name (180SX). Not because of the fact that it wasn't called that in america, but because the 180sx was a world difference mechanically (factory turbocharged 1.8 liter vs. a 2.4 liter truck engine). A few ppl earned my respect when they popped the hood and revealed a jdm CA18det instead of the usdm ka24de motor. Same goes for the civic owners who put type r badges on their regular base model non-vtec civics. I'm a little more forgiving with the 350gt thing since the mechanics of the cars are identical for the most part. LHD vs. RHD is just as miscellaneous as the clock to me. Either way, a clean, tastefully modded G35 is a sexy ride no matter what the badges say.

Skyline is just the series
Like 3-series, A4, C-class, IS, 911 etc.
It is the Skyline GT-R that makes the "Skyline" word so famous.

Skyline =/= GT-R
Like 3-series =/= M3

I never said it was a Skyline. I'm saying in Japan it's a RHD & over here it's a LHD, so because it's a LHD over here it's not a real Nissan GT-R? everyone keep saying RHD vs LHD.

Well on your insurance paper it saids Infiniti G35.
BUt on the Nissan GT-R it's still GT-R no matter if it's LHD or RHD

Badging G35 as Skyline is just like badging a RSX as Integra.
