Ok so here is my situation. I want to get tints, but not too dark to attract the cops (NY), and my interior is the light wheat color, but enough to make this interior not so bright.

Does anyone have any pictures or comments on the best tint combination for a black on wheat interior G35 coupe?

35 is too light for wheat. get 20...its perfect

 

i got 20% myself...although my only complaint if its dark and no outside lights on and ur pullin into traffic and a cars headlights are out...its over lol ...i already have bad eyes so maybe its just me

 

In Canada, we sue the guy with no lights and win 100%. (Our cars have to have auto running lights)

Not sure if it's the same way in the states? Don't think it is.

I've got 35% in the front of my cadillac and 10 in the back. I wish I had gone darker than 35% and I have black interior. Good way to go is 5% or 10% lower than legal limits. I'd say 20% would be perfect.

 

Im pretty sure mine is 15 or 17% with the wheat interior and I love it. During the day sometimes I actually wish it was darker though living in FL. Got pulled over for speeding a while back and cop said it was below legal limit(although I dont think it is) and let me off....with just the speeding ticket and K-9/ 6 cops searching my G to find nothing.

.... Cops waxed the K-9 scratches off my car after the search. That made the ticket worth it! lmao

 

No front tint allowed in Cali, sucks.

 

I have 5% tint on my windows but you can see through during the day no problem. At different angles though it looks much darker and at others it doesnt. Its weird.

 

I have 20% on my IP with the light interior..in NY...25 is legal, anything darker is illegal, 20 looks hot, I get alot of compliments, anything darker, you would have to roll your windows down to see at night..

 

does anyone know the legal limit for cali?

 

I got 15% and kinda wish it was darker during the day. At night tho you gotta get used to it because it kinda makes it difficult to see. Then again I do have pretty bad eye sight lol.
