FAQ: Twin Turbo

What are the necessary steps that needed to be taken after a TT has been installed. Everyone raves about getting one but no one has really talked about the longevity of the car life. Sure you may be putting out 400 whp, but it doesn't matter if you get 10k out of the car. What about other mods to help ease the transition of such a gain and how to improve engine life.

What needs to be changed, added, upgrade? Be specific please and explain what each component does.

What is the maintenece schedule?

That's bascially it. Thanks for your responses =)

Re: FAQ: Twin Turbo

THis HAS been discussed and if you do a search you'll find it...but, you'll need to rebuild your internals or buy a stoker kits to extend the lomgivity with any FI upgrade.

2 G or NOT 2 G, there is no question!

Re: FAQ: Twin Turbo

The Greddy setup is a safe setup if done correctly.
Cost wise Id go with the Vortech, very close HP gains and MUCH cheaper/easier to install. The Greddy setup will give higher torque gains....
Go to www.my350z.com and read the F/I forum there are a bunch of guys with TT setups and Vortechs.

Re: FAQ: Twin Turbo

Biggest advantage of the TT is major Torque at 4000 RPM instead of 6000 RPM for SC.
Any FI will wear and tear on a stock high compression engine.
But you have to pay if you wanna play.
