I told myself I'd try to baby this car as much as possible even though its my daily driver...So today I look down at my odometer and I'm already at 500 miles and shes only 6 days old...Am I abusing my baby by putting this type of mileage on her already?

 

Me too! I figure I will drive until it gets old then I'll use my beater more often. Don't worry about it. Just make sure you break it in right.

Yeah, I told my wife the same thing about my last car... I'll drive this car into the ground, replace the engine if I need to, etc etc... I was all neurotic about the car too... But yeah, my commute to work is 80 miles a day round trip. But I enjoy every mile of that commute deng it! <IMG src="http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif"/> My friends look at me in shock when I tell them I fillerup every 4 days... i average about 500miles a week and its not even my daily driver. Most of the miles i put on it is on friday night/ saturday tho. To much fun to drive in nice weather =p

 

I started driving my coupe on Thursday. My commute is 50 miles per day and I LOVE driving on weekends. I'm thinking about switching cars once or twice a week with my girlfriend (civic) because she works so close. The G has high maintenance costs (tires are $$$$) so maybe keeping the miles lower will be better?

its ok, i bought my coupe brand new in april 28th this year and its not even 2 months yet and i just hit 2700 miles! i redline on a daily base lol....you aint pay almost 40g'z just to park it and stare at it all day, feel me? my boy bought an 04 STI 2 weeks ago and ready has 1500 miles!
