An important friendly reminder...

During the new car orientation... my salesmen reminded me of small easy to forget but very very important detail... If and when the battery on your g35 ever dies or you simply disconnected (i.e. for audio installations or other modifications or repairs) make sure to roll your windows down before you open or close your doors...

I'm sure most of you already know this, but just in case and god forbid we ever forget, when the door is closed the window actually sits up inside behind the frame... when you open or close the door, the window slides down ever so slightly and then slides back into place...

So if your g35 is ever lacking electricity and your windows are up and you need to open the doors... make sure you press the entire door down, lean into it with your body just so that the top of the window can just barely squeeze below the door frame...

I hope none of us ever forgets this small but important detail...

Re: An important friendly reminder...

If one forgets this step, wouldn't the problem be solved by just reconnecting the battery, opening the door, and then lowering the window?

Well, if the battery is dead, it doesn't really matter if it's connected or not....

Re: An important friendly reminder...

lol leaving interior light on would probably take about 2 months or more to drain your battery.

and no one is stopping you from getting the Z, so do it. If you are actually deciding whether to cancel your order just because you think you might leave your lights on and break your window, then you haven't fully understand the beauty of G35, and you don't deserve it.

Actually, the G35 will automatically shut off headlights and interior lights after about 5 minutes to keep you from draining the battery....

Re: An important friendly reminder...

hahahaha

I'm the last guy to be a jerk but obviously you were the first and I had to reply.

YAH .. I guess your right ..

"I haven't fully understand the beauty of G35"
(nice ahhahaha ...did you read that over?)

I don't deserve it ..!!! ..
YOU DO?....(with that wonderful attitude, see how far it gets you)

If you didn't initially understand the beauty of sarcasm, then hey maybe you don't deserve the G either !

But it's not my place or in my character to say who deserves what.

Where have you been hiding???
Actually, do me a favor...
crawl back in there buddy.

Re: An important friendly reminder...

i actually did disconnect the battery and forgot to roll down the window. I opened the passenger door and forgot about this. I had no problem opening the door and closing it.
