Blinking Air Bag Light

I have an 05 Coupe with rougly 17k miles and noticed today my airbag light started blinking when I turned on my car to get home. Is this common?

i did but i came up with nothing the light came on a few weeks ago i reset the system and it went away for a while but now its back

It does a system check every time you start you G. If it blinks and stays that way, it means there's a system failure on airbags. Funny I read that in my 06 manual.

Take to dealer.
