2005 spec changes?

Hey, this is my first post so if I do something bumb, just tell me. I was wondering about some spec changes to the G35 for the 2005 model year, including 15 extra hp, 12 extra lb./ft. of torque, suspension changes, and some interior work like brushed aluminum instead of the plastic dash. Does anyone know if this is really going to happen, and if it does, what the price change will be?

Are we sure this is even real? I thought it was determined that the posted 2005 update pics were Photoshopped. As 'official' as their announcement looks, if they were fooled by Photoshop pics, they might be fooled by a fabricated press release. I have looked for Nissan JP releases for the 2005 Skyline and have found none, and I have also found no updates for a 2005 350Z. I know a G35C 6MT is not going to have more HP than a 350Z 6MT (unless it's aftermarket :-)).

How did you search for a Nissan JP release for the 2005 Skyline? Can you even read Japanese?

Re: 2005 spec changes?

I'm doing Google advanced searches in Japanese (as well as searching Nissan's JP own website). Is there one out there that I missed? I know there's lots of different combinations to get various results. Let me know where it is and I'll take a look.
