went over median... damage?

so if i were to have maybe lost control temporarily and gone over a concrete median (the kind with sloped sides instead of a regular curb, thank God) and, by some miracle, done no visible damage to anything except for 2 very small scratches on the passenger side rims.... do you guys think that there could be any suspension damage? it feels completely normal when i drive it. I'm gonna get it re-aligned (it needed that anyway) just in case but im wondering if there could be some kind of damage that im not able to detect

To be 100% sure... Have a reputable body shop check the chassis (unibody). They have a system that will determine if the unibody is still straight. Assuming everything is OK, then get a 4 wheel alignment.

That'll wake you up....:)

Sorry bout your mishap Rob, once they get in on the alignment rack they'll
be able to see if there's any damage. Just by doing the alignment you can
tell if the undercarriage has been damaged, my first concern would be the front suspension....

I hit a pot hole in chicago and wrecked a wheel bearing. I went to have the car re-aligned and they pointed it out to me.

ummmm yeahhh "hypothetical".......... hahahaha

anyway i had been driving a long time, didnt realize how cold it had gotten, so i didnt anticipate the lack of grip my summer tires were gonna give me.... the end of a circular on-ramp that i take every day is a lot more fun (and safe) when there's sufficient grip

don't feel bad...I curbed my 2 passenger side wheels on this little corner of a curb (that wasn't rounded) by a driveway that was sharp enough to slice through the walls of my 8 month old tires. Fortunately I didn't do any damage other than screwing the alignment and curbing the wheels.

be thankful you don't have an aftermarket exhaust as I am sure it would have been damaged.
