What's up guys. New to the G35 but not the VQ. Crossed over from an 08 Altima SE. Couple of the guys I run with refered me to this sight to get help full insite on strategies for tuning my G. I'm looking to make 300 plus hp na and have been told about the Motordyne site as a resource, as well as PPE for long tube headers and having an uprev tune after. Cash flow is fairly loose ideas would be greatly appreciated and not afraid to get my hands dirty and do it myself. Does anyone have any feed back from the cosworth intake manifold vs the Kinetix ?

Welcome! Getting 300 NA is going to be really hard lol. From what I've read its better to go FI instead. But good luck!!

That is what I got. It puts down 396 hp to the wheels after installing the V3, headers, exhaust, chip, and tuning. I love my 05 coupe. Car digs deep with 35 pounds of junk in the trunk!

Exterior Mods

I have an 03 G35 coupe and I just changed out my headlights to the smoked halo's w LED lights. I'm trying to find some tail lights to match but all I can find are the tint that you put on yourself. Can anybody point me in the right direction to try and find some new taillights?

Hey I just bought a 2004 G35 and I was just wondering what mods I should start with. I'm mainly looking for cosmetic mods to start with. Thanks:D

I searched this thread and didn't find a post that pertained to this but.....

I'm stock, clutch is starting to slip a little, 85k miles.
Time to upgrade to aftermarket clutch. I've only heard one aftermarket flywheel, and it clunks.
Basically I want to keep it a smooth ride. What is the best clutch/flywheel combo for retaining a smooth clunk free ride?
Or if there isn't a flywheel that won't clunk, i'm ok with keeping the stock, but then what is a good clutch?

Yea on the rims and You should also black out your grille, rear emblems and diffusor to complete your while theme. It like what you're going for but the grille and hood look out of place if that makes sense. I think if you black out those parts I listed it'll look much much better! Just my .02

Thanks! One of friends suggested blacking the grille out too, but i don't know if i should take it off and paint it or buy an already black one
