hey bmason, don't you have to have a manual to benefit from the mrev components? I thought it didn't work for Autos. Is that true?

not true at all.....the mrev feeds more air into your cylinders...it has nothing to do with your trans

But doesn't it matter what year your coupe is? I didn't think it worked for the 04 coupes..

i dont know why that link went to floor mat it clearly says exhausts on it anyway it was for a magnaflow y pipe, just wanted ppl's opinions on it.

twalls Apr 19, 2009 11:22 PM

bwahahahahah.. yeah yeah yeah... Floormats..

I've read a lot about topspeed on here more than anything.. I'm not personally familiar w/ either.. I'm gonna go w/the fast intentions exhaust and it replaces the y pipe configuration w/ an xpipe.. So I passed when it was time for me to get one.. But either that or the HR Y pipe is what most folks go for on the forums..

Hey the link works now! ROFL. I knew what you intended it to link to... but it was just too hard to pass up :p

The MREV2 only does great things for the Rev-up motors; which are in the 05+ coupes. All it basically is is a lower collector from the 03-04 motor that has had the runners machined a little bit. It will still give you a teeny-tiny boost in HP on a nonrev-up motor, but its really not worth the $.

And if you're rollin in an 06 with just a plenum spacer you should definitely pick up an MREV2 before you worry about exhaust; it'll give you more umph for your money

i seen a video on youtube of a g35 with the z tube, pop charger, and spacer and it sounded real nice....so my first mods will be the above mentioned and also clear corners, they look alot nicer than the yellow....but i was wondering why does a lot of ppl debadge their cars? i think the infiniti emblem looks nice.

twalls Apr 19, 2009 11:47 PM

the emblem is what most people leave.. the normaly take off the "INFINITI" and the "G35".. I plan to do the same.. It's just personal preference..

I did mine 2 days after I bought it ;p I just left the Mt Fugi and took off all the letters; looks a lot cleaner IMO and definitely makes it easier to wash/wax.

I think that as long as the g35 comes off any variation is cool; the G35 up in the corner just looks tacky. (I think)

Oh and the clear corners are a MUST. I seriously wince every time I see one with those ugly-*** bright orange winkers in the parking lot...

infg35coupe Apr 20, 2009 12:23 AM

what does IMO mean? and what g35 in the corner u talking about? on the back of the car?

seymore4 Apr 20, 2009 12:29 AM

IMO is short for "in my opinion"

The "G35" is the one on the rear of the car on the right side.
